The internet breeds intimacy between people who really know little about each other. We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing.

Ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.

Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don’t know about you.

  • What comic from our past (not something new I haven’t read) do you consider to have held up to the test of time?

    1. Hmmmm… I’m not sure that I could pinpoint one so here’s a quick list…

The Watchmen (Each time I read, there seems to be something I missed)
Cerebus (laugh out loud funny… with poignant moments too…)
Lone Wolf and Cub (My intro to Japanese comics and wow, what an intro)
Daredevil (especially the issues illustrated by David Mazzuchelli)
Batman: Year One (expertly written and illustrated)

There are others, but these seem to standout out to me. What are your standouts?

      1. I haven’t really read any comics for about a decade, but I do own a couple of issues of Lone Wolf and Cub and have to agree that it’s still very good.

I’d like to go back and reread some of that stuff and see what I think of it now.

        1. Yeah the only thing disappointing about Lone Wolf and Cub is that most everything that followed it just didn’t quite live up to the hype. Akira was, and still is, incredibly good, but there is so much crappy manga that it’s difficult to sift through it sometimes.

If you’re looking to read some comics… Something that you can find fairly easily is Preacher. I just started reading it and am enjoying it a great deal.

  • What is your favorite pizza topping?
Who is your favorite out of my friends?
If you could choose one city to move to right now, no strings attached, where would it be?

It’s hard to think of things I don’t know about you. Will you ask me a few after you answer these?

    1. It’s going to sound kinda vanilla, but my favorite topping is pepperoni.

I’m going to assume you mean the ones that I only met through you… I’ll say… Kim and Molly are my favorites… with Molly probably my favorite. That said, I like all of your friends… with very exceptions.

Any city? New York is at the top of my list. Unfortunately, since I always have to consider the financial side of it, it is unlikely that I could afford to live there for very long (maybe two to three years) before I would be forced to find a more suitable place to live out the rest of my days with you comfortably. 😉
