Moving day is finally upon us, and and I have been busy packing up our belongings for the long haul to Shampoo Banana. I bet many of you have had trouble sleeping trying to figure out how exactly we were going to load a truck up all by ourselves…

Well, you’re in luck. We are seeking volunteers to help us out on Monday and/or Tuesday to help us load our lives into a 16 foot space on the ABF U-Pack truck. You bring the brawn… and we’ll provide the beer and food of your choice (well… the pizza of your choice anyway).

So come on down. Don’t be shy. We need help, and I don’t just mean the mental kind.

      1. We are apparently slated to fit into 11 feet of truck. I have my doubts–but then again I am not the best at eyeballing a room full of furniture and figuring out whether it will all fit into a given area.

        1. Yeah. I look at all my stuff, and I think 16 feet can’t be enough. Then I start thinking about stacking things and I think… we overdid it. We’re going to have 5 extra feet. Who knows.

          2. If you have as much crap as Ronda and I did when we moved into our house, 16 feet won’t even begin to touch it. We hired Two Men and a Truck and told them to bring the biggest truck they had. How we managed to fit so much crap into a 2 bedroom apartment is amazing.

          3. We’ve done some downsizing, but I’m not sure it is going to be enough. Then there are times when I think about it objectively and I think… we don’t have nearly that much stuff.

            It’s truly amazing how we accumulate crap.
