I must say that today is one of those days that I just don’t feel like applying for any jobs. It’s weird, I don’t mind spending a couple of hours searhing and finding potential jobs, but I just don’t feel like actually doing the cover letter and resume part of it today. I guess I’ve been feeling a bit down about it lately, but whatever. This too shall pass [insert scatological humor here]. 😉
In other news, my brand new MacBook came via FedEx today. It is very, very, very HAWT!!!! I think I’ll name it Mandingo. It’s the new black one, and well… Mandingo is a good looking black dude, and that’s exactly how I see my new laptop. Although SuperFly might work too. Or maybe Sweet Sweetback. Now that I think about it, maybe this is why I don’t feel like sending resumes out today.
One last thing… apparently I’m getting mail at my new house in Urbana (and I haven’t even paid for it yet). Maybe that’s where all my rejection letters have been going.

Its understandable for you to not feel like sending out resumes & writing cover letters every single day….its definitely not an enjoyable task. But hang in there…just keep your head up & try to stay in good spirits about applying and if you have a day that you do not feel like sending out as many don’t beat your self up for it and just take that time and rejuvinate.
Any company would be lucky to have you Sammmy!!! 😛
