I haven’t owned a console video game machine since the Sega Genesis. Well, I take that back, I lived with someone that owned a PlayStation, but I didn’t really play all that much. Back when I did play, I really enjoyed racing games and skill sports games like golf.
While various consoles have come and gone, I’ve been mostly oblivious to the quality of today’s video games. So today I found myself reading the news at one of my favored tech sites (http://www.arstechnica.com) and low and behold and advertisement for what has to be the coolest skill sports video game I’ve seen in a really long time…

Hmmm… don’t remember it, but that’s not saying much. I only owned a handful of titles. I was a very poor college student back then.
