Liz and I went Sea Kayaking today. Let’s put it this way… Sea Kayaking with a messed up rudder is a test of your relationship. A test on which we probably got a C-, at best. The second half of the kayak had a fixed rudder… and because of that, we’ve decided that we might actually be able to do this again. Next time, though, we check the rudder before we hit the water. 😉
We’ll sleep well tonight. The sleep of tired arms. The sleep of tired legs. We will wake tomorrow in the wee hours of the morning, drive back to Nelson and fly south to Queenstown. Milford Sound here we come! 🙂

Sounds fun! Keep these posts a-coming if you have time between the kayaking and the sleeping.
There will definitely be a longer post with everything once we get back.
Right now I’m typing this from Queenstown where we just arrived at our lodge. Interesting thing about NZ… there is not one place with a bad view anywhere we’ve been. Maybe it’s because I’m from Florida where everything is flat and sandy and I’m just impressed by things like hills and mountains far more than I should be. Case in point, our room looks out over lake Wakatipu with a view of the Remarkables (mountains). Striking and Beautiful.
