It’s the last one…

Well… is at the airport once again. She’s flying to Philly tonight for an interview at Lehigh University, about an hour north.

This is her final interview. Here’s a quick update in the order she interviewed.

Wisconsin = accepted (Madison is better than Urbana-Champaign, but it’s not the front runner)
Illinois = accepted (current front runner)
Texas = interviewed, waiting to here (won’t go even if accepted)
Boston = interviewed, waiting to here (fingers crossed, if accepted tough decision ahead)
Ball State = interviewed, waiting to here (thinks she nailed it)
Lehigh = interview tomorrow (the onus is on Lehigh to wow her, not the other way around)

Here are the schools that declined…

California (Santa Barbara is purrty, but expensive)
Oregon (can you say hippie?)
Fordham (it’s in NY)
Columbia (it’s also in NY)
Arizona (hot, hot, hot… and super dry)
Maryland (my best option for staying at the paper)

As for me… I’ve been in the grips of a general malaise. I hope I can break out of it before the wedding. There’s so much to do that it seems overwhelming. This is not the best time to be a natural procrasitnator to boot.
